Consultation Includes
- Intake and hair/scalp history review
- Discussion of concerns, styling practices, routine, and goals
- Preliminary Scalp and Hair Assessment — initial visible observation of the scalp, hairline, edges, temples, crown, parting areas, and overall density
- Observation of visible dryness, flaking, buildup, breakage, shedding concerns, and tension patterns
- Education within the cosmetology scope
- Personalized next-step guidance and recommendation of the appropriate 30-, 60-, or 90-Day Experience
- Medical or dermatology referral guidance when appropriate
- Up to 45 minutes — in person or virtual, as available
- $125 may apply as a Consultation Credit toward enrollment within 30 days, when applicable
The consultation includes a Preliminary Scalp and Hair Assessment for initial visible observation, professional education, suitability review, and next-step guidance. It does not include a medical diagnosis or the complete Comprehensive Scalp and Healthy-Hair Analysis, baseline documentation, Scalp Health Score, individualized plan, and progress tracking provided after package enrollment.

How the Consultation Credit works: Your $125 is a paid, nonrefundable Consultation Credit — not a deposit. If you complete enrollment in a 30-Day, 60-Day, or 90-Day Restore After Pressure™ experience and pay your remaining balance in full within 30 days of your consultation payment, the full $125 is automatically applied as a remaining-balance reduction at checkout.
If enrollment is not completed within 30 days, the Consultation Credit expires and the $125 is retained as payment for the consultation service rendered. Your paid consultation may be rescheduled one time only, and only when Black Beauty is contacted at least 48 hours before your original appointment time. After one reschedule has been used, no additional reschedules will be allowed — no exceptions. Late cancellation, missed appointment, failure to provide 48-hour notice, or requesting another reschedule after the one allowed reschedule has been used may result in forfeiture of the Consultation Credit. If the consultation payment is refunded, reversed, disputed, or charged back, the Consultation Credit is invalidated.
